About Behrens

Behrens describes itself as Manchester's oldest textile company. It was founded in 1834 and is now a sixth-generation family-owned business. Its founder's motto, "to be, rather than to seem", still guides the company, which today works across healthcare, home textiles, apparel and fabrics.

Behrens has decades of experience supplying the healthcare sector, and its own-brand garments reflect that. The range we stock includes healthcare tunics, smart scrub tops and trousers and tabards, along with piqué polos, knitwear and hoodies for care and support teams. It also covers teamwear such as training tees, windbreaker contact tops, track tops and rugby shorts. Behrens is also the company behind the Simki scrubs brand, which we stock separately as Simki.
