Logo Printing & Embroidery

Branded workwear, made in Belfast

Logo Printing & Embroidery

Put your logo on polos, softshells, hoodies, hi-vis and caps. We embroider and print in-house on over 100 embroidery heads, so your team looks the part from the first day.

Why branded workwear matters

A uniform is often the first thing a customer notices. Independent research backs that up.

80%+

of more than 2,500 people surveyed said their uniform influences their ability to do their job well. [1]

66%

agreed that customers judge a business by what its staff wear. [1]

78%

said they feel more confident trusting advice from staff who present well. [1]

9 in 10

people who received a branded promotional product remembered the brand on it. [3]

7,856

average impressions a branded outerwear or fleece item makes over its life, and 61% of people keep one for two years or more. [2]

47%

of people keep a branded t-shirt for two years or more. [2]

Our four branding methods

Embroidery

PremiumLong-lasting

Stitched directly into the garment for a polished, high-end finish. Ideal for polos, jackets, softshells, fleeces and caps.

Direct to Film (DTF)

Full colourFine detail

Your design is transferred from film to fabric with heat and pressure. Sharp detail and bright colour, and it works on almost any fabric including hi-vis and technical garments.

Screen printing

Bold colourLarge runs

Layered inks give vivid, long-lasting prints with consistent quality across big runs of t-shirts, hoodies and event wear.

Vinyl transfer

FastSimple logos

Heat-applied cut vinyl for hi-vis, names and low-colour logos. A good fit for smaller quantities and quick personalisation.

Choose "print" when you order and our team will pick the most suitable print method for your artwork and garments. Not sure? Read the methods explained or ask us.

*Branding certified hi-vis must not reduce the visible area needed for its class. Some manufacturers only allow embroidery with permission from their notified body, so we check hi-vis branding on a case-by-case basis.

How it works

  1. Upload your logoAdd your logo as you order, or build a free text logo. Vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) give the cleanest result; see our artwork guidelines.
  2. Choose positionsPick where it goes: left chest, right chest, back, sleeve or cap front. Preview it in the Workwear Design Studio.
  3. Approve the setupWe set your logo up for embroidery or print and, if anything needs a tweak, we get in touch before we start.
  4. ProductionBranded orders typically take 7–10 working days to produce, then they are dispatched from Belfast.

Logo printing & embroidery questions

Ordering and pricing

Is there a minimum order for logo printing or embroidery?

Our website does not set a minimum order quantity, so you can brand a single garment for one new starter. For larger runs, talk to our team.

How much does it cost to add my logo?

There is a one-off setup fee per logo (not per position) and a single charge per branding position, whatever the number of colours or logo size. Text-only logos have no setup fee. See current prices in your currency on customisation prices.

Do I pay the setup fee every time I reorder?

No. Once your logo is on file you won't be charged setup again for the same design.

Do you offer team or volume discounts?

Get in touch with our team to discuss trade or team pricing. Call (028) 90 749 719 or email sales@theworkwearco.com.

Can I open a credit account?

We offer credit accounts for approved business customers. Apply through our credit account application.

Do you price match?

Yes. If you find the same product and service for less elsewhere, we'll match it. See customisation prices for details.

Lead times and production

How long do branded orders take?

Branded orders typically take 7–10 working days to produce. After dispatch, delivery is 1–2 working days to Great Britain and 2–4 working days to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

I have a deadline. Can you rush my order?

Contact us as early as possible. We will always try to help where we can, and tell you honestly what is possible.

Where is my workwear branded?

In-house at our unit in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on over 100 embroidery heads plus our print equipment.

Logos and artwork

What file format should my logo be?

Vector files such as AI or EPS are best, and PDF also works. Bitmap files like TIF or PSD should be at print size or larger and at least 300dpi. See artwork guidelines.

What if my logo isn't print-ready?

We can redraw it for you for a fee, and we always ask for your approval before starting. Details are on our artwork guidelines page.

Can I see my logo on the garment before I order?

Yes. Use the Workwear Design Studio to preview your logo on products and positions.

Can I add names or text instead of a logo?

Yes. Build a text logo in the branding step; text logos have no setup fee, only the per-position charge.

Can every logo be embroidered?

Most can, but very fine detail or gradients may suit print better. If your logo isn't compatible with a method, we'll get in touch and suggest the best option.

Methods and garments

Embroidery or print: which should I choose?

Embroidery gives a premium, long-lasting finish on polos, jackets and caps. Print (DTF, screen or vinyl) suits full-colour artwork, t-shirts, hoodies and hi-vis. If you choose "print", our team picks the best print method for your artwork.

Can you brand hi-vis?

Yes, usually with DTF or vinyl. The logo must not reduce the visible area the garment needs for its class, and some manufacturers restrict embroidery, so we check hi-vis branding before production.

Can you brand flame-retardant or arc-rated clothing?

Branding may affect FR and arc-rated performance, so these garments need the manufacturer's approved method. Contact us before ordering branded FR kit.

How do I look after branded workwear?

Wash inside out at the temperature on the garment label, avoid bleach and fabric softener on prints, and don't iron directly over a logo. See our Workwear Care Guide.

Can I return branded items?

Customised items are made to order and can't be returned unless faulty. We're happy to replace faulty customised items. See our refund policy.

Can you help us roll out uniforms across several sites?

Yes. We can keep your approved designs on file so every reorder matches. See corporate orders or contact our team.
