Do sun hats protect against UV?

A wide brim shades the face, ears and neck. Some fabrics have a stated UPF rating. Wear sunscreen on exposed skin as well.

Which brim width should I choose?

A brim of around 7.5 cm or more gives better shade for the ears and neck than a standard cap.

Can sun hats be worn with a helmet?

No. For sun protection with a helmet, use a helmet sun brim or neck shade designed for that helmet.

Do sun hats come in sizes?
