Collection: Protective Clothing by Standard

If your risk assessment names a standard, this is the quickest way to find clothing that meets it. Every garment here is certified to at least one European or international protective standard, so safety managers and buyers can shop by protection rather than by product type.

Browse by hi-vis (EN ISO 20471), rain (EN 343), cold (EN 342), heat and flame (EN ISO 11612), welding (EN ISO 11611), limited flame spread (EN ISO 14116), arc flash (APC 1 and 2), anti-static (EN 1149-5), chemical protection and UV. Always check the level shown for your size on the product page. Brands include Snickers Workwear, Portwest, Sioen, Pulsar and ELKA.

We add logos in-house in Belfast through logo embroidery and printing, so one order covers the garments and the branding. Plain items reach the UK and Ireland in 2–4 working days*, branded items in 7–10 working days. Delivery costs £5.99 / €5.99 and is free over £99 / €99, with 28-day returns on unbranded stock.

Ordering for a larger team? Every business account gets a dedicated account manager who can help with sizing, repeat orders and on-site visits.

All clothing in our range certified to at least one European or international protective standard, including high visibility, rain and cold, heat and flame, arc flash, anti-static, chemical, knee protection and UV. Use the standard and level collections to find the protection you need, and check each product's certification against your risk assessment.

Protective Clothing by Standard: frequently asked questions

How do I find clothing for a specific hazard?

Start with the hazard, then choose the standard that covers it: EN ISO 20471 for high visibility, EN 343 for rain, EN 342 or EN 14058 for cold, EN ISO 11612 for heat and flame, EN ISO 11611 for welding, IEC 61482-2 for arc flash, EN 1149-5 for static, the EN 14605 and EN 13034 types for chemicals, and EN 14404 for knee protection. Each has its own collection.

What does it mean when a garment lists several standards?

It has been tested separately to each one, for example EN ISO 20471 Class 3, EN ISO 11612 and IEC 61482-2 on the same jacket. These multi-norm garments suit jobs with more than one hazard, such as utilities and petrochemicals.

Where do I find a garment's certification?

On the sewn-in label and in the user information supplied with it, which shows the standard, version and levels. The product page lists the standards the maker states, and the declaration of conformity can be requested from the maker.

Is protective clothing the same as PPE?

Yes. Clothing certified to a protective standard is PPE under the PPE Regulation. Under UK law employers must provide PPE free of charge to workers who need it, and in Ireland the same principle applies.

Do wear and washing affect certification?

They can. Many garments are certified for a set number of washes shown on the label. Damage, heavy soiling, repairs or adding non-certified badges can reduce protection, so inspect garments regularly and follow the care instructions.
