Collection: Contact Heat Level 2 Gloves (EN 407, 250°C)

Level 2 on EN 407 means the glove keeps the inside temperature rise below 10°C for at least 15 seconds against a surface at 250°C. It's a step up from level 1 at 100°C.

Not always. Flame resistance is the first digit of EN 407. If it's X or 0, the glove wasn't tested or didn't pass and shouldn't be used near open flame.

Thick leather, aramid knits such as Kevlar, and layered or lined materials are common. Aramid gloves often add cut protection too.
