Collection: Contact Cold Level 4 Gloves (EN 511)

It's the second digit of the EN 511 code, covering insulation when you touch or hold a cold object. Level 4 is on a scale of 0 to 4, where 4 gives the most insulation.

The most demanding cold contact, such as extended blast freezer work or handling deeply frozen products.

It's the highest level and needs substantial insulation, so gloves that reach it are usually thick and specialist. Most cold store work is well covered by level 2 or 3.

No. EN 511 covers cold down to minus 50°C. For liquid nitrogen or other cryogenic liquids, use gloves specifically designed and tested for cryogenic handling.
