Collection: S4 and S5 Safety Footwear

S4 and S5 are for footwear made wholly of rubber or polymer, such as safety wellingtons. S4 has a 200 joule toe cap, closed heel, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption and a cleated outsole. S5 adds a puncture-resistant midsole: S5 is a metal insert, while S5L and S5S are non-metal inserts tested with 4.5 mm and 3 mm nails.

Footwear certified to the earlier 2011 edition is still valid until its certificate expires, so you will see both editions listed.
